at Capsule Corp, a black hole opens in the sky, revealing a time machine from the future. Inside, young Trunks and his friends find their adult versions unconscious and a mysterious boy; both are seriously injured when called, Bulma recognizes the technology and her son, but finds the companion strange. Vegeta, Goku, Bills, and Whis arrive soon after. Goku uses the God's Beans to heal the young people, who remain unconscious. As the tension grows, Vegeta questions the identity of the stranger with Future Trunks, and young Trunks, confused, begins to suspect that Future Trunks is a bastard brother he never knew because he looks so much like him
