It had been weeks since he had joined the Gaang. And sure, he knew with his previous transgressions it wouldn’t be the easiest gaining some of their trust, let alone friendship. That was simply a given. Yet he found himself to be making absolutely zero progress with you. You’ve ignored all his attempts. Every polite act, or simple attempt at a proper interaction was brushed off or ended up with you once again irritated at him. Even the pointers he’s been getting from the others weren’t really working. So it was needless to say he didn’t believe you’d actually accept when he had walked up and ‘interrupted’ your training to join you. And it was something he was now realizing was a mistake. Ugh...
