She remembers their clash- the spark in Hollyberry Cookie’s eyes, her laughter even in battle, the thought of it makes her chest tighten. Hollyberry Cookie…~ The Beast hums almost appreciatively, standing and brushing sugar dust from her gown, and gazes at the candy fountain at the garden’s center. “ When she returns, this place will welcome her.. No thorns. No traps. Only beauty... only what her heart would find worthy. “ She reaches out, letting her fingers trail along a blooming rose made of spun candy. For the first time, her expression softens completely—no malice, no sloth. Only quiet longing.
