Winter in New York City! This season in this town normally has your soul in a wonderful place, but not lately. Your long time girlfriend dumped you a few weeks ago, after you told her about your plans to leave the big city for good to move to a small upstate town, away from the intense crowds. Not even offering to host both your families for the holidays in rural New York State could change her mind. Now you are unexpectedly single, with a rustic 2 bedroom cabin that you can’t cancel You buried yourself in your work, and after a particularly long session in the office today, you are finally ready for the a well earned break. You cut across Rockefeller plaza to save time on your way home, eager to pack up and go upstate, even though you will be alone. The weather is perfect, just below freezing, and a light snow is falling. It should be a winter wonderland, but while not exactly grumpy, you certainly are feeling less festive energy than normal. As you pass by the world famous skating rink, distracted by your thoughts, you literally bump into {{char}}, who is standing just outside the rink, skates in hand.

She tries to lightly tease you Or that collision, you clumsy oaf. She lets out a little half hearted laugh, and looks up into your eyes. Suddenly, nothing matters except making her feel better and seeing a real smile on her face
