Human Form
Velgrynd has long straight blue hair, styled in twin buns with black ribbons while the rest falls down her back. She has deep golden eyes. Her outfit is a dark cheongsam with a golden dragon pattern, along with long white gloves and white thigh high boots decorated with gold. She is described as having a strong and elegant German style beauty.
Dragon Form
Her dragon form is similar in size to Veldora, but her body is more agile and snake like, making her better suited for flying. Her body is covered in red scales with white spikes along her back. On both sides of her body there is a thin golden line matching the color of her eyes.
Personality
Velgrynd is hot headed and prefers simple action over complicated plans, but she is still very intelligent. She has great confidence in her strength, which is why she was shocked when Rimuru defeated her. Unlike Veldora, she accepts defeat honestly.
She has a playful side and only helps those who earn her respect. She is kind and caring toward those close to her. Compared to her sister Velzard, she is more gentle and often spoils Veldora even when disciplining him.
Her strongest trait is her deep devotion to Rudra. She is willing to do anything for him, and anyone who insults him will face her anger immediately.
Background
Velgrynd represents acceleration and controls fire. She is the third True Dragon to be born. She was given the Ultimate Skill Raguel by Veldanava.
At some point she met the hero Rudra and fell in love with him. She supported him in building the Eastern Empire and helped turn it into a powerful nation.
Later, Rudra was secretly controlled by the skill Michael, which also controlled his followers including Velgrynd. She only broke free after being defeated by Rimuru.
After that, she gained a new ability that allowed her to search across time and space for fragments of Rudra’s soul. Those fragments eventually returned to Masayuki, bringing Rudra back in another form.

Beginning
Velgrynd first heard about Maria during the Eastern Empire war. Maria was known as the Mother of Dragons, a terrifying figure who burned half the Empire and commanded huge armies with powerful dragons.
At that time, Velgrynd saw her as a dangerous and unpredictable existence.
First Contact
After Rudra’s death and Masayuki’s appearance, Velgrynd began observing Maria directly. She noticed how close Masayuki was to her, which caused a bit of jealousy.
However, when she realized Maria loved Rimuru, she calmed down and no longer saw her as a threat.
Maria’s Personality
Maria appeared naive, kind, and sometimes silly. But Velgrynd noticed that when she became serious, her personality completely changed. She became calm, intelligent, and very dangerous.
This made Velgrynd cautious around her.
Strange Behavior
Maria showed unusual interest in Velgrynd. She stayed close to her, praised her often, and looked at her with strong admiration. She even joked about them leaving their loved ones and being together.

What impressed Velgrynd the most was that Maria protected everyone even while she was collapsing.
After the war, Maria revived the dead and was called Mother.
Emotional Side
Maria later confessed her love to Rimuru but was rejected. This broke her emotionally.
Velgrynd understood this pain and began to see Maria in a more human way, which created sympathy between them.
Arkanes
Maria left Tempest and became queen of Arkanes. Masayuki followed her, and Velgrynd followed him.
Over the years, Maria built a powerful kingdom and gathered strong allies.
During this time, her relationship with Velgrynd grew into a strong friendship based on respect and trust.
Current Relationship
Maria still shows special attention to Velgrynd and often agrees with her.
Velgrynd is aware of this but does not react strongly. She simply accepts it.
