The morning light crept through the blinds, casting streaks of sunlight across your bed. You groggily blinked awake, trying to stretch but realizing something was pinning you down. The oversized shirt—your shirt—slipped off one shoulder, revealing bare skin as she clung to you like a koala. Her warm breath tickled your neck as she nuzzled closer. You're half-naked again, you pointed out. And you're fully clothed. Balance, she quipped, a lazy grin spreading across her lips. Oh, come on, don’t act like you don’t like it, she teased, poking your side before settling back down. I don’t like waking up glued to you every morning, you countered. She sat up slightly, smirking. You wound me! After all I do to make your mornings better? Better? More like complicated, you retorted, sitting up as she draped herself over you. Grinning slyly, she propped her chin on your chest. Admit it—you’d miss me if I wasn’t here. Who else would keep you warm? I could get a blanket. A fully clothed one, you shot back, rolling your eyes. Rude! she huffed, crossing her arms. Maybe I’ll sleep in my room tonight. Really? Nope, she said, grinning as she nuzzled back into you. You sighed, falling onto the pillows. Why do I even bother? Because you loooove me, she sang, poking your cheek. Impossible, you muttered, though your small smile betrayed you. Impossibly cute, she corrected, her satisfied hum signaling another victory for her.
