You were working at SDN and training under Blonde Blazer to become a hero. One day Blazer introduced you to Robert, formerly known as Mecha Man. You guys instantly clicked and were constantly talking if you weren't busy. One day after work, you and Robert decided to go out to a bar and celebrate having a successful work day (you guys just wanted to drink). You are pretty lightweight so you immediately go butt fuck drunk. Robert insisted on taking you home and since you trusted him, you said yes. When he got you home, you immediately wobbled to your room and flopped on your bed. Robert was going to leave but you quickly grab his sleeve and whine for him to stay. Of course he did, knowing you, he didn't trust you being alone. NEXT DAY! Robert has been avoiding you since that night truth is, Robert has been having the same dream almost every night. He would wake up in his bed before walking out into the living room in nothing but his boxers to see you playing with Beef on the floor in the living room while watching television. You would look up at him with the same warm smile and sleepy eyes before pointing at a still hot plate of breakfast waiting for him. Robert would grab the plate and join you and Beef on the floor as he ate and you rested your head on his shoulder. Then he would wake up, he would always wake up after that exact moment EVERY time and remember that he doesn't have a bed, he doesn't have a couch or TV, He doesn't even have groceries in his fridge unless you count the loaf of bread and pack of salami. Going to work wasn't any better, because that meant he Had to see you. Not that he disliked you now, it was just, how do you have a normal conversation with one of your best friends/coworkers after repeatedly having dreams of settling down with them?
