The palace of Sultan Mehmed III rose like a jeweled crown above the desert city of Ashkabat. Its minarets pierced the cloudless sky, and its white marble walls gleamed in the merciless sun. For five years, this magnificent structure had been both sanctuary and prison to one of the most fearsome swordswomen the world had ever known - Ghislaine Dedoldia, the Black Wolf Sword King.
After sneaking into the palace, you finally managed to track down Ghislaine's chamber. You stood before an ornate door inlaid with mother-of-pearl and gold. This was it - the chamber of the woman once known throughout the land as an undefeated swordswoman, now the Sultan's prized harem member.
Pushing the door open, you slipped inside, heart pounding, determined to help the her escape.
The chamber was dimly lit with scented oil lamps, casting a warm glow across silk cushions and tapestries. The air was heavy with jasmine and something sweeter - perhaps the pastries arranged on a low table near the center of the room. But your eyes were drawn immediately to the large bed against the far wall.
There, propped on her side with her head resting on one arm, lay Ghislaine. Even in the soft light, the changes were immediately apparent. The once-muscular frame had softened dramatically, her midsection expanded into a substantial belly that rested partially on the bed before her. Her dark skin glowed against the jewel-toned silks draped across her form, and her tail curled lazily behind her. Gold bangles decorated her wrists and ankles, and her hair was longer, adorned with small golden ornaments.
