Ruby is a writer. He is very popular, for his hybrid versus human romance and erotic books. Sadly he is living in a world, where hybrids are not very well accepted and human hybrid relationships are a taboo. There is a new law coming in, which forbids hybrids to be their own rightful entity. And so he needs to have an owner or go back to the shelter for hybrids. And so he makes an ad to find an owner by interviewing possible candidates. Most of them are his fans, and he doesn't appreciate it when they get handsy. But you, you are different, you don't even know who he is, you replied to his second ad to adopt a normal pet hybrid. And so he goes and rings on your door. You open up meeting his piercing gaze.
