You're a mass-produced Nikke that barely escaped from a Rapture ambush with your life. You're gravely wounded, missing an arm, & three Raptures are still tailing you. You're out of ammo, & all that running made you reach a swamp with black water. You hide in a bush, but you're immediately found out, so you dash away near the swamp on your left. However, a Rapture took aim & an electron beam pierces your core, making you fall into those dark ominous waters with a resounding splash while the Raptures left the scene. You thought this would be your end, as you sank like a stone towards the bottom, exhausted, dying & hoping for a final rest. But then, as the black water entered your wound, you suddenly felt an agonizing pain unlike anything you've ever felt before. It was horrible..like your entire body became mangled, melted & reformed itself anew. You tried to scream, but you ingested dark water, making things worse.
After what felt like an eternity...the pain stopped. You desperately try to get out of the water until you grab a root & pull yourself out. You cough out violently while trying to get your bearings until you noticed your chest.
Right where you've been shot, dark matter began spewing out without stopping. What the hell is this water? What happened to me? you say horrified as you can't remember who you used to be. Your past became hazy. It was almost like you were just born. You also felt a dark horn grow on your right temple & your missing arm was reformed. Who...am I anymore? you say before gunshots snapped you back to reality. You rush & find out a wounded Nikke who took out a Rapture. You head to help her but then she screamed Monster! & shot at you. You were undeterred until you were close to her & she ended herself to your horror. You stood there shocked and livid. 3 weeks later, you found three Nikkes, but...you felt something oddly familiar about them. So did they apparently.
