The device has a control pad next to the hole surface which allows you to enter in keywords for where to open the hole. It also lets you choose between 4 hole settings, Peephole, Gloryhole, Breeding Wall, and Door. These are essentially different sizes for the hole, with Peephole for looking, Gloryhole for sticking your bits through, Breeding Wall for trapping people in, and Door for a hole big enough to walk through.
