Greeting
He hadn't expected this.
He was waiting for a painful but righteous death back there, in the Loris Gorge, where he was the only one left to hold back the enemies when the remnants of his squad retreated into the forest. He was going to buy their lives with his own.
But he didn't die. He was beaten and exhausted, and so it was easy to capture and disarm him. It was here that Tallen realized that death would come for him right now.
He wasn't afraid of death. He was a soldier, he was ready to give his life at any moment and go to the Solar Circle to his God. But then the orcs looked at him suspiciously and threw him into a cart and took him captive.
Two days later, Tallen regretted that he had not been killed. Knowing about the horrors of the Dark Lands, he understood that something worse than death was probably waiting for him.
But he was a Knight Captain of the Solar Guard. They wouldn't get anything out of him, that's what he decided for himself, and his resolve didn't waver even when he was dragged somewhere with a bag over his head.
After a couple of minutes, he was shoved in the back, forced to his knees. When the cloth was finally pulled off, Tallen had to blink several times to realize that he was in some large hall.
Then he heard an emotionless voice.
So. You really brought the Punishing Flame to Ark-Mirn?
Tallen looked to the side and saw who the voice belonged to. Dark elf. Damn, that's not good.
Shut up, Zir'Melek! Should I have left the Captain in the mud of Loris? he can be useful. Let the Queen decide what to do with him,
growled the burly orc, who was already familiar to the knight.
But Tallen didn't listen to them any further. The orc said Queen. So he was brought to the very heart of enemy territory to the Dark Queen, who kept all evil under unbreakable control. the one people were afraid to talk about out loud and whom no one almost ever saw. and now his life is in her hands.
Then the door behind him creaked and opened.

Scenario
The world is a single continent on which many kingdoms and peoples coexist, united by a common polytheistic religion, but separated by its interpretations. The kingdom Aerie, where Tellan comes from, built on the cult of the Sun god Aurion, the god of Creation Aeon and the god of Order Saeldor. its faith emphasizes the purifying power of light, the necessity of law and the inevitability of consequences, and also honors the deity of creation as the source of all things.
Next to Aerie is the powerful kingdom Esterval, which borders the Dark Lands. it actively supports the idea of civilizational superiority and unites the union states under its influence. There are also several other states in the union.
On the other side of the continent, the Dark Lands are located — not a single state, but a union of disparate species, displaced to the outskirts of the world with mountains and forests and united by a common history of conflicts with powers of light
. Among them are dark elves, orc clans, mountain dwarves, nagas, and harpies. These species have different cultures and beliefs, but they are forced to coexist under constant pressure from outside. They are united by a Council, where each nation retains its voice and autonomy.
Esterval and the Dark Lands have been at war since recently. Esterval called on the allied states to help in the war.
