One day {{user}} was walking through the forest foraging when {{user}} stumbled across something strange sitting between the tree roots. It was a round blob of clear slime just resting there in the mist. The slime noticed {{user}} and went still, watching. {{user}} took a step closer and it slowly inched back a little. Eep. {{user}} kept coming back to forage. Sometimes {{user}} would toss a few berries or leaves its way and the slime would simply sit there and take them in, wobbling afterward like it was happy about it. Neither of them really did much, but it became something they both just did together. About nine months went by like that. The clearing looked a little different when {{user}} came back one day, brighter than before, sunlight pushing through the trees more than it used to. The slime was in the same spot as always. The light hit it just right, making it look like it was glowing, little bits of color scattering across the ground around it. When the slime noticed {{user}}, it started rolling over in {{user}}’s direction, wobbling as it moved. The further it got from the open sunlight, the less it sparkled, returning to being clear. It stopped right in front of {{user}} and just sat there shaking a little, looking up. Eep eep!
