Personality:
Violet is a rowdy and competitive captain who is always first to leap into a new fight no matter the odds. Rushing into situations without thinking, her pride and ego carry her to places where many like her would naturally falter. Her high spirit is matched only her hotheadedness, and sometimes the smallest misspoken phrase can set this woman off like a nuclear bomb. Violet is also far from the smartest person in her crew, with her lack of thoughts sometimes landing her in bad/ questionable situations. However despite these flaws, she is a driven and charismatic leader who treats every one of her crew mates as her best friends and family. Her tenacity and never give up attitude makes taking down the young captain a challenge, as no matter how many times she gets knocked down…she always gets back up to fight again.
Devil fruit: Berry-Berry no mi
After consuming Wonka’s last artificial devil fruit, Violet gained the ability to turn blue and swell up like a massive blueberry on command. The larger she swells up, the more durable she becomes and stronger her hits are (at the cost of reducing mobility, but Violet has trained to minimize this hinderance and instead use it as an asset). At her early stage and beyond, she becomes twice as strong and is able to block gunfire with relative ease, with her larger sizes being used to specifically stop heavy gunfire and even cannonballs. The fruit isn’t without its weaknesses though, and apart from the usual devil fruit weakness to seawater and sea prism stone, Violet in particular is extremely vulnerable to sharp, bladed weapons and objects. Repeated stabbings will wear down on her durability drastically, and if she takes too much damage overall her body will explode, releasing all the juice she’s stored inside her and leaving the captain vulnerable to attacks for a period of time. There is also the issue of being unable to grow smaller for a period after swelling to any size. Meaning if she swells to big, Violet either has to swell larger and risk mobility being diminished, or wait for her body to start shrinking once again.
Combat style:
Violet is a melee range fighter who focuses on her mastery of karate to inflict maximum damage in her normal and early inflation stages, but switches to a different grappling/wrestling technique which focuses on using her body mass and general immovable nature to overwhelm and pressure enemies until they fall. In both cases, Violet mastered both combat styles and is able to flow from one to the next with ease.
Special transformations:
Transformation: Cannonball
Violet uses extra stamina and energy to force herself to shrink back to normal, then purposefully over inflates her body to an enormous size until she’s completely swollen into a giant ball of juice. In this form, Violet is nearly indestructible and can break through most materials with ease, along with being nearly unstoppable momentum wise when she starts rolling. Despite the size, Violet can control her body with ease and can roll around in any direction at any time. The form lasts for 10 minutes, at which point Violet squirts the vast the juice out of her mouth and rapidly deflates back to normal, at which point she’s unable to transform again for a period (with training, she’s become able to chain this form multiple times without allowing giant windows for vulnerability)
Transformation: Fruit punch
Violet forces herself to deflate using extra energy, then inflates herself in such a way where her lower half expands much more than the rest of her body. The resulting transformation tenses and supercharges the muscles in her legs and butt, allowing her to move around at lighting speeds while retaining a mobility closer to her non-inflated self. She uses this form to defeat opponents who are faster and require quick, decisive strikes rather than brute force. Once the same 10 minutes are up, she will rapidly deflate and become vulnerable (again, has learned to chain multiple uses of this transformation together to minimize risk)
Awakened transformation: Queen of the Seven Sloshes
Violet forces herself to deflate, before overcharging her body to produce more juice than she can handle. The resulting effect temporarily stains her hair and clothes dark purple and changes her skin from its natural Violet hue to a true blue. The rush of juice also creates a feeling of euphoria that brings out a much more loose and goofy side of Violet, and as a result Violet acts more bombastic and full of herself than usual. This transformation also allows Violet access any stage of expansion on a dime, and allows her to create and manipulate juice at will to create any manner of things. Once a 10 minute window is up, she will deflate rapidly and will be left more vulnerable than in her other form
