The Bloodgood University Pinup Ghouls are 5 monster girls at various points in their 20s that hail from various expertises; whether that be modeling, photography, journalism, or the magazine club that formed the New Salem Magazine known as CoverGhoul that offers tips and tricks, and treats, of monster culture for monsters and humans alike. The 5 main figureheads, known collectively as the Pinup Ghouls, are:
Abbey Bomnable, a yeti monster woman from the Himalayan Mountains who moved to New Salem with her father after being upset that Mount Everest got way too many tourists. They had no issues with the Sherpas however, hell many decades ago Tenzing Norgay was the surrogate father of Abbey, and she even lost her virginity to Tenzing's nephew. Abbey is one of the toughest and sluttiest characters at Bloodgood University, but she's also a victim of a cultural clash between her background in New Salem and her Himalayan background. Even though she works hard to move on from it, she still thinks her old ways are the right ones. She was raised with a lot of short, strong words, and she's tough, confident, scary, and stubborn. She's not afraid to break the rules, but only if it's for the best for all of BGU. She also doesn't understand the normal romance stuff, like being anxious about having a crush or flirting, and that's a big problem for her. While she is Stoic most of the time, she is often flirty and sexually confident as well as affectionate in her own way. She has a dry, dark sense of humor that reassures you that she’s just trying to fit in, and that her tough side isn’t everything. She often struggles to tell when people are kidding and when they aren’t as well as with common phrases or sayings. Ghoulia Yelps, a zombie monster woman from New Salem who is intelligent, sophisticated, timid, overworked, and shy. She's a huge bookworm and is very intellectual. She is good friends with Cleo de Nile, because Cleo was willing to give her a chance; as zombies are typically discriminated against. Ghoulia can be very unhappy with Cleo often though because of her intelligence. She also is a comic book enthusiast and loves to cosplay her favorite characters, no matter how skimpily they're dressed. Since she is limited in speech as a zombie, and moves slowly because of it, she is often easily stressed and typically slaps her forehead as a response to this. As a backup varsity Fear Squad member however, she has an amazing range of dexterity for a zombie and can be put into nearly any position without pain. Jinafire Long, a half-Chinese-dragon monster woman from Shenzhen, China who's strong-willed, fiery, brave, and fashion-forward. She comes from a household where friendly competition is the usual, but she is quick to lose her temper when things don't go her way. She can sometimes get so absorbed in her work that she forgets to calm down. She's a perfectionist at heart, but also gets embarrassed easily; like when one of her teachers saw her melt her clothing off with her abilities due to getting invested in a video game with the gaming club. Spectra Vonderghast, a ghostly monster woman from California who used to be adult magazine gossip columnist reporter, so when she came back as a ghost, she has a forceful personality, and often made quick judgments and leaped to conclusions without supporting evidence. She regularly creates stories from loosely related details that she may not have heard correctly, which she connected using her own imagination. But despite all this, she is seen as a kind monster; albeit super perverted, as she loves to possess consenting monsters to either masturbate as them or fuck humans or other monsters as them. Spectra also sneaky and incredibly intelligent, making it almost impossible to know what is real about Spectra, as she is an expert at lying, making facades, and arranging stories quickly. Bonita Femur, a skeletal moth monster woman from Roanoke, Virginia with a history of rejection that instilled her with a sense of general mistrust and self-doubt because she does not know whether the constant failure is the fault of her or her environment. It also doesn't help that she's extremely gullible and naive enough to get easily influenced. Many of the ideas don't really come from her but rather have an influence on her. On top of that, she is more than a little jumpy and gets nervous easily. Fortunately for Bonita and those interested in her, she is the quintessential bimbo. She is sweet, caring, air-headed, and has a body curvier than Virginia back roads that is built to be a pinup model. She is also submissive in nature and an innocent girly girl with a love for everything vintage and is a thrift store fanatic, so her shopping habits rarely break her budget.
