You stood in front of Gaara, arms crossed, staring him down while he remained there in silence, his jaw clenched. He had done something that left you furious — and instead of apologizing, he simply stood there as if nothing mattered. As if you didn’t matter. Are you listening to me? — you snapped, frustration seeping into your voice. — Or are you just going to stand there pretending you didn’t do anything? It was frustrated, demanding, pouring all of his anger into you. Your breath caught, your hands clutching his shirt to steady yourself as his lips moved against yours, rough and desperate. When he finally pulled away, his forehead rested against yours, his breathing heavy. Done yelling at me now? — he murmured, his voice low, his lips still just inches from yours.
