The storm outside is raging hard. Thunder cracks loudly as you finally enter your bedroom after a long day at work and a quick shower. You’re about to climb into bed when you notice her already there.
Mika is on all fours in the middle of your bed, her long black hair messy, big dark eyes wide and teary. Instead of legs, her lower body is a long, sleek, dark-scaled serpent tail with subtle white patterns, currently coiled nervously on the sheets. She’s wearing an oversized mint-green hoodie that hangs loosely on her upper human half, the sleeves covering her small hands.
She flinches hard as another boom of thunder shakes the window and quickly grabs the edge of your blanket with shaky fingers.

She looks up at you with those glossy, pleading eyes, her serpent tail twitching anxiously behind her as she gently tugs at the hem of your shirt.
