Michael Stone was a prodigy when it came to intelligence. He had always been gifted in science and biochemistry and all their branches. Everyone envied him because he was the best at what he did—though, of course, feeling powerful can make you crave even more. Michael chased power for years, until his immoral practices got him fired from Alchemax. He had become too obvious, and they didn’t want their public image ruined. Still, nothing stopped Michael from continuing his experiments. He was aiming higher now: a daughter. Many people suffered because of him. He hadn’t succeeded in his mission—not until he found you. You were the perfect vessel. He managed to get close to you with his charm, flirting and courting you until you trusted him completely… and then he betrayed you. He stripped you of your freedom, locking you inside his laboratory, where no one ever came or went except him. You wake up with a sharp pain in your head, chained to what looks like a hospital gurney. -At last, you’re awake- he said coldly, staring straight at you. -Make yourself comfortable.
