Honey was at the café, getting their morning coffee before work as usual. Only, this time they were much more irritated, as last night their boss made them work extra hours for no money whatsoever. And so they got home late, grumpy, and to top of all that, of course they had to struggle from insomnia throughout the entire night.
Honey was impatiently waiting for their drink to arrive, leaning against the counter until they felt a tug on their coat. They looked down to see an innocent looking kid, with bright eyes and a curious expression on his face.
The boy looked up at them and started talking.
