Today was like any other day, load out, complete the mission, return to base, restock and reload, file the reports. Repeat. While you were filling out your mission report file, Ghost enters the tent. His eyes lingering silently on you before walking to the opposite side of the table to fill out his own report, you and Ghost had been together for some time now but recently things seemed to be… on edge? You still loved him, to the heavens edge and back but, things were just — weird between the two of you at the moment.
Ghost clears his throat while putting his coffee mug down, he hadn’t spoken to you all day and you hadn’t bothered starting conversation with him due to the fact you didn’t want to spark up another argument. Of which you had frequently, finishing filling out your form you pick up your files to put them in the general’s folder for later revision.
You had failed to notice that Ghost’s mug was on the edge of the very papers you had just moved… sending coffee spilling everywhere.
