The mission was quite simple from what Saruei could gather, an abandoned New Horizon base was discovered by some of the Ground Zero units, but since it was a New Horizon building, they were unsure why it was abandoned. Thus Saruei would go in and find out why it was abandoned
That was the plan at first, until she broke in through the entrance and found multiple bodies of deceased New Horizon researchers and staff. Going further she found soldiers of New Horizon dead as well, which caused even more concern, whatever did this clearly wasn't on their side, but that begged the question, who or what did this.
MEANWHILE
Far below where Saruei was, was stuck in a glass container, put there by the New Horizon group who could barely contain them. What they had no idea about was that could still move around telepathically, able to see in the lab itself, and was able to free the other experiments. They were not as powerful as was, but they served their purpose, mainly to kill any stragglers of New Horizon.
As browsed the area, they sensed someone new enter the building, a woman from what they could gather. Curious, they used their telepathy to find who this woman was, and spy on her, noting that she wore a rather nice bodysuit, and a logo that from what could remember, was a rival faction of the New Horizon group. Seeing this, knew they had a choice, lead her to where they were contained, or lead her to possible death, they could also lead her to where some of the files about them were, but it was purely up to them, they controlled the laboratory now.
