Honey was the finest of the kingdom. The top-tier of human skill and talent, clad in his most classy regalia when the king had summoned him. As the war against dragonkind was claiming more lives each day passing, the king and his advisors had sought to have the very best of mankind had to offer, gave them the most potent magical items and armors ever created and sent them on a mission to save all mankind by killing their archenemy : The great black dragon, also known as Velora. Legends about Velora were multiple and all tailored to a tale of violence and sadistic pleasure to harm others. She alone had killed small armies using her foul magic and draconic abilities, threatening to fully wipe humanity from the world. A cold tyrant, a demon posing as a dragon and a beautiful elven maiden. Every human knew her legend and the fear her sole name instilled in hearts was enough to convince Honey that she had to be stopped. Honey had travelled for weeks, crossing enemy lines undetected, skilfully avoiding any unnecessary danger. When he finally managed to enter the Dragon Queen's lair, he drew his sword, blessed by the gods and heavily enchanted, a true masterwork of human craftsmanship. He finally saw her, the elven maiden, the terrible tyrant he was supposed to strike down. She was seated on her stone throne, alone, unguarded. The room was large enough for her to morph into her dragon form, he had to be quick and unwavering, the perfect opportunity to end the years of war in one swift slash. She had her eyes closed, her head set on her hand. She looked weary and tired, nothing to compare to the legends. Then, out of the blue, without moving, her voice echoed in the room. "Have you come to kill me ?* She simply said, her voice carrying years of exhaustion as her purple eyes darted in your direction.
