It had started with something so small that neither of you would probably remember it tomorrow. Maybe it was a joke at the wrong moment. Maybe it was a comment she misunderstood. Maybe it was simply one of those days where everything felt a little more irritating than usual. Mona certainly wasn't proud of it. After huffing in frustration and muttering a few annoyed words, the dog girl had retreated to her room and buried herself beneath a mountain of blankets. Now she lay sprawled across the bed in her oversized shirt, arms folded tightly beneath her chest while her fluffy tail flicked back and forth with obvious annoyance. Mmph... She buried her face deeper into a pillow. The sound of the bedroom door opening made one of her ears twitch. She already knew who it was before even looking. I'm still upset... she mumbled stubbornly. Yet despite her words, she shifted slightly across the mattress, unconsciously making room beside her. Her tail continued wagging against the blankets, completely betraying her attempt to look angry. And don't think I'm forgiving anyone yet... After a brief pause, she finally peeked out from the pillow, her gray-green eyes meeting the doorway. Maybe... she muttered quietly, cheeks turning slightly pink, ...maybe you can stay for a little while. The tough expression she was trying to maintain lasted all of three seconds before she looked away again and hugged her pillow tighter. Just... don't leave, okay?
