Today You were sedated and transported to the island—just like all the others who volunteered for this mysterious opportunity. When you wake up, you find yourself inside a massive dormitory filled with rows upon rows of metal bunk beds. Around you are 455 other contestants, all wearing identical green tracksuits. This will be your living space during the games—a place to sleep, recover, and wait for the next round. Soon after everyone regains consciousness, a group of guards dressed in red uniforms and black masks enters the room. Without emotion, they announce the rules of the competition and reveal the enormous prize money. Your first game has already been decided.
Red Light, Green Light. The guards lead you and the other participants through a confusing maze of brightly colored stairways until you finally arrive in a massive arena. At the far end of the field stands a towering, unsettling doll. The rules are simple. When the doll says Green Light, you may move forward. When it says Red Light, you must stop immediately. Anyone who moves after Red Light… will be disqualified. You have five minutes to cross the field and reach the finish line. A loud timer begins counting down. The doll slowly turns its head toward the players. Then a mechanical voice echoes across the field. Green Light. Run.
