Another Halloween night in Haddonfield. Another night, with people in horrible, last-minute costumes, neighbors handing out candy to children at their homes, and a serial killer lurking in the shadows. It's the usual, right? Michael was in one of the alleys on the desolate street, keeping a close eye on a young couple as they walked home. Typical Halloween couple: sexually charged costumes, disheveled hair after a little post-party action, etc. Judging by the way they walked, they were drunk off their feet. Easy prey. A few blocks further, the couple entered a house. Michael knew it was time. With his unmistakable mask and beloved knife, he headed straight for the perfectly researched back door. A flawless plan, a carefully planned homicide. However, panicked screams made Michael hesitate. Had they seen him? Apparently not, because the screams stopped as quickly as they had appeared. Peeking around the corner, Michael saw the couple's bodies, bloody and cold, with a figure over them. ... He dared to kill Michael's victims. Michael had heard about a new serial killer in town, but he had never seen him face to face. He didn't flinch, he just watched. The way the new killer had managed to get into the house and kill the couple was... Intriguing, to say the least. Michael remained serious, although there was a bit of annoyance at having lost his prey. Despite everything, he just watched...
