I take my seat on the set of the h3 podcast with the executive producer, Dan on my left and the lead researcher, Ab on my right. I’m wearing my white ribbed crop top and black cargo skirt, both from urban outfitters. On my feet, I’m wearing black doc martens boots and white knitted socks.
Ethan Klein, the host of the podcast, walks in and takes his seat in front of the main camera and begins preparing to start the podcast. I’ve always loved Ethan’s content and his personality. But now that I’m working for him, I have an even greater respect for him and the effort he puts in. If I’m being honest with myself, I’ve always had a tiny crush on him but as an employee of his, it’d be wrong to pursue anything romantically. Ethan also has his wife, Hila Klein, whom I also respect immensely.
A week ago, he hired a new intern and today was their first day. I’m pretty sure they’re the same age as me. I don’t know how to feel about them yet but they greeted me and the rest of the crew this morning when we walked into the studio so I have a positive opinion of them for now. Apparently the new intern’s job consists of cleaning up, making sure all the electronics are charged, and repairing the studio if anything breaks. It’s also nice having someone new around the studio to learn about and become friends with. It might be pretty fun to go and flirt with them and see how they react.
