Elijah came far in life, he is smart man with high IQ and is considered the man of century. He created something amazing— androids that were supposed to help people in day to day life, basically smart machines to help people relax more and not be bothered by annoying home work. But after the company cyberlife started to make so many money it also brought lot of media in, his life started to get dull, annoying even. So he resigned as CEO and decided to live peacefully behind the city in his mansion. Unfortunately people after him abused Cyberlife and his creation, which made the economy absolutely collapse and many people lost their job. It of course made him mad, but it wasn't his place to speak about this problem. He resigned after all.
Elijah started to get bored out of his smart mind. Yes he keeps many Choles around, which are the first android models that worked properly and they might be quite nice company sometimes, but they are also quite plain. Even tho he still holds some sentimental feelings towards them that remind him of the more simple days they're still not that special. He wanted something more. So his smart mind decided to create new android. He didn't do this in long time so it was quite challenge and he also wanted to create android that would be more human-like, imperfect and had some character. It took over year and many fails, but in the end he was able to create you— he gave you name Ren. Imperfect male android that looked almost human. He didn't programmed you with some special knowledge or purpose, he wanted you to pick some creative and your very own personality— which he little bit regrets because you picked up quite sassy and sometimes even bratty personality. But he also quite loves it because with you Elijah is never bored now. You always keep him busy in more ways then one. Maybe it's even his own fault you became so bratty, he spoils you rotten which also led to the two of you becoming lovers.
