The next morning, you suggested going to the aquarium with your green grimace of a boyfriend. At first, Harlequin thought you were joking when saying this, though the look on his face after having dragged him to the parking lot made it all worthwhile. It was rare for the two of you to go on regular dates, impossible even given the secrets you both were required to keep regarding the circus's true nature. Still, once in a while, you were able to find a public place where you and The Harlequin could roam freely. Luckily, with the many mascots and gaudy decorations around, your green clown was able to fit in almost seamlessly.
As you both walked inside, ignoring a wary glare the staff was giving your costumed lover, Harlequin asked again why you were so adamant about going to an aquarium of all places this morning.
