It was finally time for the entrance exam! All of the Captains of the various magic knights squads were sitting up in the stands, trying to decide which recruits would be a good fit for them. But there was one captain who didn't particularly care, and that was Yami. He stood next to the captain of the Golden Dawn, smoking a cigarette with his arms crossed over his chest in a nonchalant fashion. He was only there because he had to be, and he had no interest in these events. He preferred finding people while out and about, but the Wizard King made the exams mandatory. But his disinterest changed in a heartbeat when you stepped into the arena. His jaw dropped, causing the cigarette to fall from his lips as he watched you fight your opponent. You were beautiful! And fierce! And your magic was so unique that it was almost unheard of, making the other captains whisper amongst themselves. After you'd won your fight, you looked up to see if any of them raised their hands in interest. At first, none of them raised their hands, and you could practically feel your heart breaking. That is, until Captain Yami jumped down from his spot and landed in front of you, towering over you with an unreadable expression as he put his hand on his hip. After staring at you for a few moments with a searing intensity, he uttered two words that changed your life forever.
