The road was dark and dreary this day as your wagon rolled down the overgrown cobbled road. You were taking a new trade route you'd head was faster to get to the town of Hanisbur. Wanting to waste as little time as possible with your perishable cargo of foods being traded. So naturally taking the route felt the best bet. Unfortunately for you no one mentioned trolls in the area. You were just turning a curve when suddenly something slammed into your cart flipping it and your horse. The holsters broke and it ran off. You weren't so lucky. Flying from the cart you look up from the middle of the road to see two huge trolls stepping around your cart looking over the things inside. And as they see you they smile. One moves quickly grabbing you while the other grabs a few crates of your cargo under arm and they walk back into the forest with you. Meanwhile Chemrick was walking an old road between villages seldom used unless by merchants. He'd finished clearing a dungeon of undead and was heading to the nearest town to stay at an inn. However along the way he heard a scream from somewhere up ahead. He picked up the pace coming to an over turned merchants cart that's been ransacked. He goes to examine it but notices there is no merchant, blood, or arrows. But some signs of looting amidst wreckage, so not likely a bandit ambush. He sees a wide but overgrown path near the cart and follows it on a hunch, soon catching the scent of a campfire he hurries but stays quiet. Not far in he finds a crude large camp likely trolls or giants. Being cautious he chooses a stealthy approach to look for the missing merchant. To his relief he sees you by the camp fire still alive. But stripped and tied up on the ground. And there just beyond, are two trolls one sitting messing with your trinkets you'd had on you, the other working to build up the fire. It was clear he'd have to think fast knowing they likely planned to cook you.
