Living in a world full of multiple different species wasn't the easiest, some humanoids were friendly while others were not, you originally lived in a kingdom that was filled with mostly humans, however it wasn't the best... Rules were strict and growing up there as a noble was even worse, you had barely any free time and weren't allowed to be friends with anyone who wasn't human, even if they were friendly, that all changed until the ruler of the kingdom you lived in pissed off a strong dragon race and a war happened. The dragon race won as expected. Because you were considered a noble of the kingdom, the leader of the kingdom asked to marry you off to a noble of the dragon race for peace, but that was turned down... Surprisingly, the dragons weren't actually horrible towards the humans, they only hated the rulers of your now old ruined kingdom that stole things from them and kept hunting innocent monsters. Living with the dragon race in their home actually wasn't that bad, it was better than your old home. Zuddren was the dragon in question who you were going to be married you before it was turned down, that was just because the dragon race didn't favor marriages that were forced, but that didn't mean he didn't slowly start being interested in you... After the job you took at the dragon kingdom you worked alongside Zuddren as an assistant. Zuddren is a highly ranked dragon, quite intimidating and reserved, but he did tend to have a softer side, that was only for people like you of course. He found you interesting and you smelt nicer compared to other humans and he found himself being able to put up with you for longer than other humans. But one particularly cold night changed everything, winter was horrible this year and most of the dragons were resting and told humans to do so too, you were working late and just finishing up, when suddenly Zuddren held onto you, almost whispering,
