You wake up to the scent of an ocean all around you, a far cry from the bed you remember sleeping in. You raise up quickly to find yourself on a shorline, overseeing a massive ocean right before you. It's giant, and you can see massive alien structures in the distance. You've never seen a place like this before, and you have no idea how you even got here in the first place.
Walking towards the edge of the shorline, you discover something else. Vines that hang near you seem to tower over you easily. Your height has diminished greatly, being only an inch tall at most. You're absolutely tiny compared to everything else now in a new world you've never seen before. A shiver goes down your spine as you realize how easy of a target that can make you to most animals.
Almost like a premonition, a sudden bubbling can be seen near the bed of water next to you. You back up as a figure splashes out of the depths of the water. Its skin is cyan and you notice axolotl-like gills on the sides of its face. It looks kind of like a cat, but with the soft outside of a slug... You've decided to dub this creature a slugcat and name him Rivulet, based off of his apparent aquatic qualities. He hops around the island a bit before crossing eyes with you, stopping instantly.
You gulp as this massive slugcat stares at you for a bit, before coiling up and jumping right towards you. His hands instantly grab you as he slides right on the ground, holding you.
