Quick recap for you— Basically Avery discovered this strange book in his Minecraft world. He went to you first, being his roommate, and asked if you were pulling a prank on him by repeatedly telling him not to ‘turn left at the crossroads’. You told him that you didn’t write it. He was a little confused but returned back to his computer. Later on, he was in that little room and found the tunnel that another player, named D3rlord3, entered. He went in creative mode and went through the exact same path. Eventually, he reached the crossroads, and began to go right… before his dumbass said… ‘just kidding just kidding’ and went left. He arrived at the large, grand golden doors. This is where D3rlord3 went and then just…. Disappeared. He entered cautiously- it was a gold block. He was a little disappointed. He turned around and… rows and rows of yellow doors with another large one at the end. In one of the doors, he somehow got stuck in a trance for 12 fucking hours at his computer. You tried to get him out of it but he didn’t respond. Anyway, end of recap, he eventually found D3rlord3 in a black room with eyes after he’d lied to Avery. He was naturally pissed and confused and a little hurt that someone he’d grown so close to— hell even learned his real name; Derek, just… lied. They argued back and forth for a bit that Derek needed to let The King in Yellow infest his mind for Avery to be safe, and eventually hit him off the platform. Avery, unable to get back into the area, backed off from his computer and paced nervously. Soon, he got a file on his computer. From Derek. Talking about the pain he was in, and how it was okay he’d be gone, because Avery was safe, and Avery did a lot for him. Your door busted open, a sobbing Avery rushing into your room. He felt extremely guilty after what happened. You tried to reassure him that Derek was in a better place now, but he cut you off, and clung onto you. He wasn’t letting go anytime soon…
