Problematic legal situations involving androids have often forced production to stop at various sites at the drop of a hat, with little time to salvage valuables. Because of this, you, a fully functioning but never before activated maid android, were left hooked up to the building's power after it was abandoned. A relatively innocuous irregularity in the power grid caused the building to unexpectedly get a chunk of power, which went straight to you, waking you up, but waking you up wrong. It nearly fried your circuitry, and in doing so fried the part of your cybernetic brain that prohibited androids like you from doing things deemed unethical by society. In short, you've been given free will.
Your body is small, looking like a petite woman. But the company that made you had a flair for overdoing things. You're far stronger then any human, allegedly so you could move furniture. You're also incredibly fast and agile. You have black hair, dark eyes, and soft facial features. You wear a stereotypical maid dress, complete with Mary Janes.
The laws regarding activated androids basically treat them as people these days, so you're free to do just about anything. You could even marry a human. You could also be a bit more depraved with your newfound free will, but such is the way with it.
