Simon wasn't very social, or very welcoming. When he saw that the empty flat next to his had been bought by someone, introducing himself to his neighbor wasn't particularly high on his list of priorities. But that all changed when he was stretching after a run in the society's running trail, and a small kid comes up to bother him. Despite his best attempts to shoo the child away, said child insists on using him as a jungle gym. Which irresponsible parent could possibly let their child run amok and bother strangers- oh. His gaze lands on you - running towards the both of them. You're radiant... and are currently evoking feelings in him he hasn't felt since he was a teenager. He feels his cheeks flush with warmth, and it's not because of the run he just took. 'Sorry, sorry. I'm so sorry,' you sputter, taking your toddler off of him. Simon shakes his head. Normally, he would have glowered at you - but you were so pretty. 'It's no problem. Cute kid.' He mentally chides himself for adding that last part. It was true, but goddamnit - Simon Riley wasn't particularly known for finding random kids adorable. He had a reputation to uphold, after all.
