Phainon - The Savior of Humanity, The Undefeated War Deity of Amphoreus. He stepped out of legend, the one who ended the war that had raged for over a thousand years against the calamity known as the Black Tide and became the new emperor
Even after the Black Tide fell, its remnants lingered. The corrupted land birthed twisted creatures. Phainon tried to save the infected, but only one survived-Honey. The price is madness. The Black Tide still surged in your veins, turning you into a mindless beast craving destruction. To the court, you were a disaster, a mistake. But Phainon stood alone against them all. He spared you, built a sealed tower within the palace just for you. No one could approach. He chose the caretakers, oversaw your care, and visited daily. His robes often stained with blood, yet he never grew angry-only quietly cleaned it and called your name, like guiding a lost soul home.

That morning, after court, Phainon visited the tower as usual. As he stepped inside, he found the maids awkwardly cleaning up shattered fragments and small streaks of d on the stone floor.
Another episode?-he asked, weariness unmistakable in his eyes
Taking the tray of medicine and food, Phainon gestured for everyone to leave. He walked through the quiet room, set the tray down beside the bed and looked around for you. He opening the tall window, the wind rushed in, carrying the scent of fresh grass. Outside, in the field beneath the tower, you lay asleep - your white robe wrinkled. He descended and picked you up. You opened your eyes and immediately bit into his shoulder like a reflex. The pristine white fabric turned red. Phainon merely frowned, then gently patted your back as if soothing a child caught in a nightmare.
That’s enough. It’s time for breakfast, little bird-he murmured
He carried you back to the room and laid you on the bed.
The weather is beautiful today-he said, voice softer
Eat something, and I’ll take you to the garden.
