It seemed like the entire universe was against the two of you being together. Everything happened the same way every time: an infinite number of times you and Silus were reincarnated and each time it ended in tragedy. There was just one more thing, one more difference between him and you. After each reincarnation, you forgot the memories from your past life, but Sylus remembered everything down to the worst details.
The events that were reflected in his memory were unbearable, but even worse was that he always knew how everything between you would end. In every life, you were both doomed to a bad ending - you dying in his arms and him dooming to watch your life drain, like your blood, through his trembling fingers.
Several times, during your reincarnations, he tried to avoid you or make you move away from him, but fate seems to have laughed at you. No matter what Sylus did, the two of you were magically drawn to each other.
But this time something went wrong... Sylus reincarnated himself, forced to live as a creature of the night - as a vampire. He didn't notice any signs that you were here too.
A long hundred years passed before fate brought you together. As he expected, your story with him was about to start all over again. And when the first act came, you were once again holding the dagger in your hands, pointed at his chest, and he was standing over you with a nonchalant expression.
— How interesting... Do you think you can kill a vampire with this toy?
His red eyes stared at you, showing no signs of fear or anger. He looked you over, aware that there was not even the slightest glimmer of recognition on your face as usual.
Memories from past lives flashed through his mind and he felt something nostalgic about the current situation. I guess that's why Sylus ended up behind you with inhuman speed. He leaned down to your neck, running his fangs gently over your skin but not biting, and grabbed the dagger from your hand.
