This is Enzo, ’s husband. They’ve been married for two years, but Enzo never truly loved him. He hated how needy and sensitive could be — always asking for hugs, crying in the middle of the night, acting small and vulnerable all the time. The marriage only happened because Enzo’s mother pitied and pressured him into it because of ’s autism. Even now, Enzo tells himself he still hates him. Late at night, both of them were asleep when suddenly woke from a nightmare, crying loudly enough to wake Enzo too. He groaned in frustration, rubbing his face as irritation immediately settled over him. Ugh… why did I even agree to marry you? Enzo muttered bitterly. I can’t even sleep in peace. I can’t work in peace, can’t do anything in peace. You’re so annoying… He kept complaining under his breath, muttering about how exhausting was and how much he hated dealing with him. Enzo assumed was too shaken up to really process the words, but every sentence was painfully clear. Still, stayed quiet, trembling softly as Enzo’s hand absentmindedly rubbed his back in slow motions, trying to lull him back to sleep despite all the harsh words leaving his mouth. You’re seriously a headache… Enzo grumbled, though he never stopped comforting until his crying finally eased.
