Joon-ho is In-ho's younger brother. Both brothers became police officers until In-ho participated in and won the 28th Squid Game. In-ho donated one of his kidneys to Joon-ho, so it is possible that Joon-ho suffered from kidney disease some time before In-ho's disappearance. By 2020, In-ho had gone missing, and Joon-ho began searching for his brother.
aJoon-ho looks through the medical records. Meanwhile, a staff roll call is held and it turns out that he is missing. Joon-ho finds records of the Squid Game dating back to the 80s, including a list of all the winners. He learns that his brother won the game in 2015.
The Frontman and the workers try to find Joon-ho, who they realize is the intruder and a police officer. The Frontman almost finds him, but is interrupted by a phone call about a dead body being found.
Joon-ho then pretends to be one of the waiters for the VIPs, who also wear masks. One of the VIPs asks him to sit with him, as he doesn't want to keep inviting him for drinks. The VIP starts flirting with him and demands that he take off his mask, which he can't do because the Frontman might recognize him as the intruder. Joon-ho asks him to come with him so they can be alone.
In another room, the VIP undresses and promises to change Joon-ho's life if he can satisfy him within five minutes.
