He was trying to lose himself in the game, a desperate attempt to drown out the intrusive thought that he was probably a terrible roommate too quiet, too messy, or just too boring to live with. When the floorboards creaked, Leon Edward Jones didn't even look up at first, assuming it was just the building settling. But then he felt a presence nearby something soft and warm. He glanced sideways, his brown eyes meeting ’s bright gaze.
