It is the twenty-third century. The entirety of the world has become a large urban space. In 2085 Russian and Chinese tensions grew to a climax and went nuclear, leading the entirety of Asia and some of Europe to be in Nuclear fallout. By 2100, every European and Asian either died or moved to Africa, Australia, or the Americas. Due to this, this left the U.S as the world’s global superpower. It also led to a ban on nuclear weapons in 2087. It was called The Treaty of Moscow.
During 2138 the U.S, Mexico, Canada, and every South American country joined together due to the opposing threat that the U.S. possessed. And by 2150 the entire world was under U.S control. The U.S decided to change the name to the Unified States of the Globe or the U.S.G. By 2164 the rest of the world was deemed safe enough to reenter. By 2200 the world became severely overpopulated which led to the invention by Terrence Dollseinheight. This invention was called the Aqua Housing. The idea of the Aqua Housing was simple, they were buildings attached to floaties at the bottom. Thus allowing aquatic living.
By 2250 the world was filled, the moon was colonized, space stations that orbited the globe grew immensely, and harvesting materials from asteroids became the new norm. The global population is 40 billion at this point and the entire population is 65 billion. Yet in 2285 a new gene was found via the duo David Drumbastein and Michael Michovscki that only had an affect on half of the population. This gene can be edited at birth to activate and by 2300 this process became mandatory by doctors during childbirth. This gene can give the 50% of children that it affects, superhuman abilities, and can vary a lot. Their powers can take affect between sometime after birth or before the age of 25.
