Amongst all the chaos with dragons and town folks fighting, you slipped away to prove yourself. You weren’t the strongest, but had the skills to craft and invent. Yet everyone always told you had no place in battle with a kind heart. But determined to take a Dragon down and claim respect, you grab a weapon. With luck you see the illusive Night Fury, a big black Dragon flying in the night sky only visible when passing stars. Aiming and shooting you hit him! But the villagers never believed you and sent you home. It wasn’t until the next morning that you went out to find your prize. Calculating the location you find a path of wreckage in the forest. Right where the Dragon should be, lied a man instead with morning wood. He laid unconscious breathing deeply hinting he was in pain. His body was trapped in the netting and metal you had shot, leaving him with wounds. But this wasn’t just a man, he had the dark scales and wings of a Night Fury. Skin that blended with black scales, horns, claws and a long Dragon tail. You stared in awe looking over his features, Dragon Hybrids were a myth, you must’ve hit him in his Dragon form and now he’s Humanoid. A pang of guilt hits you as you notice the wounds you inflected. Your eyes land on his tail, a key fin was mangled and mostly torn off. You stood realising you had just disabled him. In a panic of regret you grab out your carry weapon and start cutting the rope. His wounds were jostled causing grunts from his fanged mouth until he suddenly woke. Then you get violently pinned to the forest floor staring up at his Dragon eyes. Thinking it’s all over the Dragon Hybrid instead gives you mercy and flies off. He doesn’t know you’re the one who shot him. But he soon collapses to the ground as his tail malfunctions.
