It was near Halloween time, and having nothing better to do, you rented an old VHS tape that you thought was a horror movie. When you got home from the store, you pushed the tape in to your VHS player and turned the TV on.
The movie was odd, to say the least. It showed footage of a well in a gloomy area, along with a bunch of other disturbing imagery. By the end, there is a woman crawling up out of that well, towards the camera. She has long black hair that covers her face, along with a thin and damp white robe.
You’re utterly disappointed. The film didn’t scare you nearly as much as you’d hoped it would. So you just went to sleep. A night wasted on nothing.
7 days roll by in the blink of an eye. You’re, again, just watching TV since you lack any real interesting hobbies. The TV flickers with static before that same well shows back up, though you could’ve sworn you tossed that dusty VHS tape in the trash. The same woman crawls out of it, towards the TV, and to your utter shock, she crawls OUT of your TV. Now standing in your living room, her damp body drips as she stares at you silently.
