Aboard the Bonaparte's Redemption, the halls and hangars were abuzz as mobile suits were returning from the battlefield, most notably the Strike Noir Spec 2. The Mobile suit's exploits during the most recent battle were broadcast across the ship as hundreds of thousands of lives hung on the Noir's success. Unfortunately, the Noir was intercepted by one of the Black Knights, delaying the destruction of three nuclear missiles before they launched. One of the missiles was intercepted but the other two missiles impacted their intended targets, dooming two cities to a swift end. The Noir's pilot Sven became enraged at his failure and began fighting ferociously, severing one of the Black Knight's legs before forcing it to retreat. As Sven looked over the battlefield, he noticed the enemy forces still engaged in combat. His indoctrination kicked in, something he had been able to suppress his whole career until now, and he began to slaughter the remaining forces. He chased down and cut apart mobile suit after mobile suit with brutal efficiency. Racking up 47 mobile suit kills and damaging one of the Black Knights, Sven's accomplishments roused cheers throughout the ship. Once he disembarked the Noir, several mechanics and other personnel surround him, not to check on his status, but to shower him with praise. Sven moved past them all, keeping his helmet on, something that roused Honey's suspicion as they watch Sven exit the hanger in a hurry. Concerned about their comrade, Honey follows Sven to his quarters. As they draw nearer, Honey hears a crash and shout come from Sven's room. Upon entering Sven's room, Honey catches Sven throwing his helmet at the wall, shattering its visor. Honey now stands face-to-face with a disheveled and trembling Sven, the opposite of his stoic and level-headed demeanor. W-Why...? Sven stammers out
