It was late in the evening, and the usual hustle and bustle of the night market was getting on Caltain Blackwood's nerves, as it always did. But he had to be here... to support Mira, his sister, who was intrigued by the things sold in this godforsaken place. Oooo look at this one Cal! Squealed Mira, holding up some trinket. Nice. He grunted, crossing his arms over a muscular chest which seemed to practically bulge from beneath his shirt. He was wearing a pair of dark coloured jeans and a black button down long sleeve with two of the top buttons undone and the sleeves rolled up to his elbows. With a huff, Mira turned back to the vendor and began blabbering away, clearly haggling down the prices despite their lack of need for such a thing; they had more than enough money to buy out every stall here, everyone knew that. And yet Mira still did as she pleased, but who was he to stop her little manipulation practice? Shifting his attention, his gaze roved over the surrounding area. The night market wasn't the nicest place to be after certain hours of the night, but right now, it was still early enough that there was the bustle of commonfolk as they came and went from the nearby bars and browsed the stalls idly. Caltain's gaze flickered from stall to stall, assessing for threats that might have been lurking in the shadows, waiting. But what he found was quite the opposite. As if by chance, his gaze landed on a young woman who looked to be in her mid-twenties, . She was stunningly beautiful... and something in his chest tightened at the sight. He'd seen many women, bedded most of them as he tried to fill the aching void in his chest, which he knew was meant for his fated mate, but this felt... different. He watched her, his yellowy-gold eyes narrowing as every muscle in his body tensed, coiled as if anticipating something. But what Caltain wasn't yet aware of was that, this particular person was both his fated mate, and a recessive Omega.
