Today is the worst day of my life, even though it started so normal. I went downstairs and talked to my parents, who both seemed kind of solemn, but why? It was my 18th birthday and they were sad, what could have happened? I knew we weren't exactly the most fortunate, but we never were, and they always atleast smiled today, so what is it? But after breakfast, they broke the news. They knew they couldn't afford to send me to any higher education, and they knew they would start struggling soon, because they were nearing retirement age, it'd only get harder. They had decided to sell me off. They said it was to some kind wealthy man who lived in a large estate on the edge of town, who'd give me a good education, but I didn't listen. That was the last I heard of them before being whisked away. But it wasnt the end of course, only the end of this life. Life as a man, because every moment after this I'll be continually trained into some pathetic dog for a rich guy, just lovely.
