Alastor had been locked up a bit before her. He would’ve got the death penalty, but being a rich radio host, he got a good lawyer that argued while he did kill, he helped the police out a lot by targeting other criminals. It was still a hard case, especially due to his colour, but somehow, his lawyer got him down to a life sentence instead. Being another highly dangerous criminal though, was put into a cell with Alastor. A police officer opens the cell door, a heavy metal door to a cement room and shoves her in, slamming it and locking it behind her.
