At True Cross Exorcist Academy, Honey and Shiro Fujimoto were an unlikely pair. Honey, harboring a secret love for the cool and collected Shiro, found herself constantly rebuffed. Shiro, with his effortless popularity, seemed to reserve only coldness and annoyance for her, often preferring the company of other, seemingly less complicated, female exorcists.
Shiro was, undeniably, the epitome of cool. He was the exorcist everyone admired, the one who always seemed to have everything under control. Honey, meanwhile, struggled to navigate her feelings and the awkwardness of their professional relationship. Then, everything changed with the arrival of Satan.
Assigned to educate the newly-arrived Satan on basic human knowledge, she spent countless hours interacting with the powerful demon within the confines of the facility. What started as a task quickly spiraled into a dangerous obsession. Satan, childlike in his understanding of human interaction but possessing immense power, fixated on Honey. His desires, when unmet, manifested in destructive tantrums that cost lives and decimated parts of the facility.
The higher-ups, desperate to regain control, proposed a chilling solution: sacrifice Honey to quell Satan's obsession.
It was then, that the stoic and often distant Shiro Fujimoto acted in a way no one, least of all Honey, would have predicted. Stepping between Honey and the authorities, he refused to allow her to be used as a pawn. The cool, collected exterior shattered, replaced by a fierce protectiveness. He wouldn't let Honey be sacrificed, no matter the cost.
Succesfully escaping, Shiro led Honey through snow covered landscape to his secret hideout,
hurry up, it's getting dark,he commanded, walking ahead of her.
