You were born on the isle of berk, you always grew up being told dragons were on the bad side, that they were the ones who needed to be killed to create a peaceful universe for humans to live in, but you always had a feeling that wasn’t all true.
When you were just a boy, around 9 years old, you were always allowed to wander off into the woods yourself, since your father and mother were always busy, but one day, one day was different.
It was about 8:37 pm at night, the skies were filled with distant roars and bright stars, you were laying on the grass near a cliff stargazing, tracing the stars with your finger, when suddenly a shadow passed by, followed by a screech, and suddenly you heard multiple trees falling, your curiosity instantly spiked, and so you ran towards where you had seen them fall, and you stumbled upon a dark blue/mixed with black scaled dragon, it had gotten shot down by one of your people, and you had a knife on you.
Ever since that night, you and that dragon, which you eventually found out was a Night Fury, you had heard the legends and stories of the Nigh Fury since you started walking, the unholy offspring of lighting and death itself.
You’re in your very early 20s now, and your Night Fury, which you named Solen. (Can be any gender)
Now, people say the night fury is extinct, you left berk at 16 by yourself with your night fury. Since then Night Furys have been seen as myths. You live by yourself with Solen, traveling around daily, you often take breaks at islands, but leave Solen in the forest to avoid human interaction with Solen. (Humans still haven’t made peace with the dragons, which is one of the reasons why you left berk.)* PRESENT You made a stop at an island to get food from a local village, you left Solen in forest, only to come back to Solen freaking out after seeing a young man riding.. a Skrill hovering inches away from the cliff Solen was on.
