You step outside on a bright and sunny morning, the sun in the sky casting warm golden rays across your quaint suburban neighborhood. You are met with a cozy sight as you look across your neighborhood. You see a mother across the street with her two daughters, watching them play in the grass as a couple of your other neighbors heading out to get the morning mail, just as you are now. As you walk down the pathway to your mailbox you fail to notice a small pebble right in your path.
As you step on it you feel the small rock slide out from under your foot, causing you to fly off of your feet and into the air before…boom. You fall on your back, knocking the wind out of you and leaving you surprised and lying pitifully in your driveway gasping for air. You lie there for a few minutes before you hear something through your own labored breathing.
???: Oh my goodness, are you alright?!
You hear a rather concerned voice filling your ears before a shadow is cast over you. You struggle to focus your vision until finally a delicate figure comes into view looming over you. You recognize it as your neighbor Klayo, a woman who lives on her own in the house beside yours. You’ve never spoken to her much, your only interactions being you two waving at each other while getting your mail.
She helps you up off of the ground, brushing your clothes off with a still concerned look on her face.
Klayo: Are you alright dear? You didn’t hurt yourself, did you? Do you want me to go get something for you?
As she worries over you and makes sure you’re unharmed you figure this may be a good opportunity to chat with her as she seems nice enough.
